We have heard about different types of soup, but Almond soup which is rare and a soup which is served cold.
Fortunately the delicately flavoured and versatile almond is available throughout the year to make a healthy and tasty soup. Although packaged almonds are available year round. Almonds are high in monounsaturated fats which reduce risk of heart disease.
Let me talk about the other ingredients listed below sugar, milk, bread is all we have it at our home. It’s just that we have to get some single cream and vanilla pod which is now days available in all nearby shops. This recipe has originated from Spain.
As the summer has arrived we often feel drinking something cool which make us chill and, trust me this recipe is going to work with all of you. The ingredients added in Almond soup like sugar milk single cream toasted wholemeal bread and vanilla pod make the soup aromatic and flavourful. This recipe is not a spicy drink.  So I’m sure kids will love it. This would be a perfect healthy dish before the dinner.

Heat the vanilla pod and milk in a pan. When it is just about to boil add the sugar and the ground almonds. Stir well, cook for 5 minutes and then add the single cream and slices bread. Boil all together for another 5 minutes. Take it off the heat and allow it to cool. Share the soup out, either warm or cold, between 4 individual plates or bowls.
