Quick fried rice like you gets at your favorite Chinese restaurant. Fried rice is a dish of steamed rice stir- fried in a wok, often mixed with other ingredients, such as eggs, vegetables, and meal. It is sometimes served as the penultimate dish in Chinese banquets, just before dessert. A homemade dish, fried is typically made with left over ingredients leading to countless variations.
Fried rice is a common staple in American Chinese cuisine, especially in the form sold as fast food. The most common form of American Chinese fried rice consists of mixed vegetable. The base of vegetable does not contain any meaty or sea food.
It is popularly eaten either as an accompaniment to another dish, or as a course by itself. I’ve always consider fried rice as the best of all comfort foods. Just imagine of it- a bowl of perfectly cooked steaming white rice, (just to the right consistency), filled with vegetables and simple seasonings where you can get all the healthy ingredients in one pot. What could be more perfect than this easy breezy dish?
Soak basmati rice in a vessel.
Grate carrot ,beans and cabbage into nicer sliding pieces.
Heat a frying pan and pour 50 ml oil.
Saute the vegetables in it.
Add salt to taste
Be careful that it should be half cooked form.
Remove it from fire.
Heat a vessel or a pressure cooker and put 75 ml oil, 2 ½ cup water and salt . Put the soaked rice and cook it for 1 whistle.
Add this cooked rice into the half fried vegetables and heat in simmer mode.
Add soya bean sauce, chili sauce and tomato sauce into it.
Put little capsicum into the rice and mix it.
Let it for few minutes.
Remove the rice from the fire.
Serve it with sauces.
You can add fried chicken pieces or prawns or egg into the fried rice to make it more delicious.
