Chicken pieces coated with many fragrant spices like turmeric garam masala, then simmered into tomato. This dish is family favourite. I have also taken it to potlucks and served it to guests in my home, everyone asks for this recipe. It is a great slow cooker meal too. It’s an amazing dish. This recipe is adapted from my mom. Must dish for Sunday lunch. The aroma of the curry with all the spices is just awesome .You can prepare this when you are so hungry and you need something quick, this recipe will help you from not starving. This dish can be served to guests ...a better dinner and even for kids as their school lunch.

About this recipe somehow I have a soft corner towards recipes that has chicken; yeah I do love their family. This a simple and easy dish. This is one of my favourite and quite delicious dishes. A perfect combination with chapatti and porotta. This tomato chicken is absolutely mouth watering and the masala is hot, sweet and tangy. You will end up licking your fingers.
Mix chicken with turmeric powder, chilly powder, salt, ginger and garlic.
Put it in a pressure cooker and pour water.
Cook it by closing the lid of the pressure cooker for 3 whistles.
Take out the cooked chicken pieces and keep aside the gravy.
Put tomato pieces into that gravy and cook it until the gravy becomes thick and the tomatoes become saucy.
Put little garam masala in it. Make the fire in simmer mode.
Put coriander leaves and curry leaves in it and stir well. Switch off the fire.
Heat a frying pan and pour some oil.
Fry the chicken pieces in it until it turns brownish color.
Put the fried chicken pieces into the tomato gravy.
