No Chinese dish is complete without fried rice or steamed rice. Vegetable Fried Rice is a versatile recipe that is easy to make and a popular Indo-Chinese dish that everyone loves. This is a light version of veg. fried rice and you can incorporate more ingredients to make it tastier and delicious. Ginger and garlic paste can be added to change the taste accordingly. Basmati rice is very important ingredient of this tasty Vegetable Fried Rice. It can be served with a delicious and nutritious gravy dish. Use fresh vegetables, red bell peppers are recommended.
Whenever we order one of our favourite Indo Chinese menu then veg fried rice is always there. We usually order fried rice when we visit hotels but you know that we can prepare it in no time at our home. Moreover the benefit of cooking at our home is that we can prepare it to suit our liking, adjust sauces to taste our buds and we can also skip ajinomoto which is not good for our health. This dish can be served to guest, they will love it. You can even serve it to your kids, when they o hungry, they will really go crazy with this dish. I and my sister always prefer this dish, as Indo Chinese, and I just love it when we used to be together, we used to sit to enjoy this food. Hope you guys also enjoy the same way.

- Wash and Soak basmati rice for 10-15 minutes,drain and keep aside.
- Heat ghee/dalda in a pan and add rice and fry it for 2 minutes
- Add salt , 1 tsp lemon juice and 4 cups of water and cook on a medium flame untill the rice is done.
- Cook the vegetables in 1/4 cup of water for 3-4 minutes.drain the excess water and keep it
- Heat sesame oil in a pan ,saute chopped onion, ginger,garlic and greenchillies,cinnamon,cloves,cardamon and pepper seeds and when they have a flavour and add cooked vegetables and saute it for 3-4 minutes
- Add pepper powder,garam masala ,salt and fry it for a minute and then add Soya sauce ,chilli sauce and stir well and add cooked vegetables and saute it for 3-4 minutes.
- Combine the cooked rice with the Vegetables on a low flame.
- Remove from fire after 2 minutes
- Garnish with celery and serve it hot.....with chilly chicken gravy which I posted recenlty .
